Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Dickens Bar & Inn is often praised for its excellent central location, just a short walk from both the railway station and Scarborough Spa, with the beach area also easily accessible. Guests appreciate the clean, modern rooms equipped with tea and coffee facilities, and the comfortable beds ensure a good night's sleep, though some found a shelf in the shower would be helpful. Breakfast is generally considered a great start to the morning, even if a few guests found some of the products basic. Plus, its proximity to the town centre and seafront makes it a convenient base for exploring.

Really good Hospitality and Prime Location

convenient location immaculate room tea facilities
I found the location convenient for accessing both the town and the beach, just a short walk away. The room was IMMACULATE, with a comfy bed and bright, modern decor. I appreciated the tea and coffee facilities, along with the soft, white towels provided.
A minor inconvenience was the absence of a shelf in the shower, it would add to the functionality of the space.

An Okay Choice

professional man hot breakfast small shower banging door
The location worked well. It was near the tram. The room was super clean. Soft, white towels were available. The young man checked us in, and he was professional. Breakfast was hot. I think the price was good value.
The room was quite small. A double bed took up space. It was hard to move around. I think a room should accommodate more than two people. The shower was also very small. I heard doors banging early.
